IMWS River Championship

The IMWS River Championship is the pinnacle event of the season for the Indiana Moving Water Series.
This is where the most consistent anglers across the Core and Signature Series compete for championship honors on Indiana’s moving waters.
How to Qualify
To be eligible for the River Championship, anglers must meet ONE of the following participation requirements during the regular season:
- Fish 4 events within the same IMWS river series, OR
- Fish a total of 5 events combined from the Core and/or Signature Series
Month Long Series events do not count toward Championship qualification.
Qualification is based on participation — not placement — meaning every angler who commits to the season has a path to compete for a title.
Championship Entry
- Championship entry fee: $80
- Event registration is required through TourneyX
- Sign-up deadline is one week prior to the event (unless otherwise noted)
- Only qualified anglers may register
Championship Format
The River Championship follows standard IMWS competition structure with a few additions:
- 2-Day Event
- Best 5 fish format (from each day)
Full rules and safety standards apply, including mandatory PFD wear and all IMWS conduct policies.
