IMWS Month Long Series
The Month Long Series is the most flexible and accessible way to compete in the Indiana Moving Water Series.
Designed for anglers who want maximum freedom with competitive structure, this format allows you to fish on your schedule while still competing against the entire field.
Lower entry. Lower pressure. Full season points.
Entry & Format
- Entry fee: $30 per event
- Standard IMWS payout structure (10% of field paid unless otherwise noted)
- Optional $5 Big Bass payout
- All events managed through TourneyX
- Best 5 fish format
- ¼-inch scoring increments using approved Ketch Boards
- Month Long events follow full IMWS rules regarding fish care, photo standards, safety, artificial baits only, and mandatory PFD wear.
Competition Structure
- Month Long tournaments run for the duration of the designated event window (as posted on the TourneyX event page).
- Unlike the Multi-Day ‘pick one’ format used in Core and Signature events, Month Long events provide an extended competition period, giving anglers greater flexibility to fish when conditions align with their schedule.
- Specific submission deadlines and requirements are listed on each event page.
Angler of the Year (AOY)
- 9 total Month Long events
- Best 4 finishes count toward Month Long AOY
- 100-point descending scoring system (100 for 1st, 99 for 2nd, etc.)
- Month Long anglers can compete for season-long recognition without needing to fish every event.
Championship Eligibility
- Month Long events do not count toward IMWS River Championship qualification.
- The Month Long Series is focused on season-long competition and AOY standings, separate from Championship qualification pathways.
